15/12/2003: Christmas Support Availability | |
Summary Verrotech have reassured customers that a duty engineer will be available to resolve serious support issues 24x7 during the festive period. Article Christmas is a busy time for our support department as the emphasis moves toward dealing with personal customers using their holiday time to create web content. Although Verrotech still guarentee all service levels during the festive period, rumors circulating of a large-scale internet attack over Christmas have prompted Verrotech to take further action.
Past history has shown that any holiday period is ideal for a Denial of Service or outright illegal access attempts on the internet - the increased response time can make all the difference. Although Verrotech had planned to have a full compliment of support personnel available, the initial decision to keep a senior engineer on call rather than on-site over the holiday period has been reviewed.
Verrotech are pleased to announce that throughout the Christmas and New Year period a senior engineer will be on-site 24 hours a day to ensure maximum service availability.
We would also like to take this opportunity to wish all our customers a very merry Christmas and a great New Year!
